The Village of Ballston Spa is preparing an application for up to $4.5 million through the NY Forward program. These programs aim to fund shovel-ready, transformational projects that will enhance the economic vitality and long-term resilience of Ballston Spa. 

Projects submitted for inclusion should: 

•Be high-impact, transformational, and contribute to long-term economic and community development goals.

•Projects should be well-defined and ready for implementation, but not time-sensitive, as funding would not be available until 2028.

This form is intended to capture initial information about potential public, private, nonprofit, and mixed-use projects that may be considered for inclusion in the Village of Ballston Spa’s NY Forward application. Submission of a Project Interest Form does not guarantee inclusion in the final application or future funding; however, the information provided will help the Village and its application consultant evaluate project readiness, alignment with program goals, potential community benefit, and overall fit within a competitive application. 

Applicants are encouraged to provide as much detail as is currently available. Additional project development, cost refinement, and scope clarification may occur after submission with support from the Village’s application consultant, LaBella Associates.
